You can reach at least six St. Augustine restaurants by boat, but only some of them tell you how. A dock in the photos and a published dock policy are two different things, so here is what each one actually says.
On the Tolomato River at Vilano: Aunt Kate's invites you to tie up at its floating dock, in those words, on its homepage. Cap's on the Water publishes the most detail of anyone: a 100-foot dock about three miles north of ICW marker 777, and boaters check in at the host stand after docking. Beaches at Vilano lists a boat dock and jet ski parking among its highlights.
On Salt Run: The Conch House runs a 200-slip marina with daily, monthly and annual rates, gas and diesel. Its site does not describe a free tie-up for diners, so plan on the daily slip rate unless they tell you otherwise.
On the San Sebastian River: Grouper Shack is inside Cat's Paw Marina, which takes transient boats up to 50 feet off ICW marker 780. The marina publishes the slips; the restaurant does not publish a meal-only tie-up.
The long ride: Outback Crab Shack sits on Six Mile Creek off the St. Johns River, well west of town, and prints Come by boat! on every page. The rebuilt dock holds up to 100 boats.
One that used to be on this list is gone: Hurricane Patty's at Oyster Creek Marina closed in November 2025 with the sale of the marina. None of this is ranked, and conditions change with the tide and the season, so call ahead.
